Delete Your Account

You can request permanent closure of your Nava Panchangam account at any time. The process removes or anonymises the identifying profile and deletes the personal records listed below. Some shared, financial, and accountability records may be retained.

Uninstalling the app does not delete your account or server-side data.

How to request deletion

From inside the app, sign in and open Profile → Privacy & account → Delete account. That link opens this page so you can review what will happen before submitting the request.

To submit the request, send an email to [email protected] from the email address registered on your account, with the subject "Delete my Nava Panchangam account". We may reply to confirm your identity before processing the request.

What gets deleted or anonymised

Once verified:

• Your account is permanently closed and every active session is revoked.
• Your real email address, Google sign-in link, display name, birth details, saved location, calculated profile identifiers, password, and two-factor credentials are removed or replaced with non-identifying values.
• Saved family profiles, personal alert rules and notifications, personal calendar events, groups you own, reset/verification tokens, and detailed per-user usage records are permanently deleted.
• Your private gift ledger entries and events, including their helper lists, are permanently deleted.
• Device push registrations and gift ledger, group, or private-feed invitations addressed to your account ID or current email address are permanently deleted.

What may be retained

Content, ownership, or memberships in collaborative feeds; feedback and accuracy reports; audit-event facts; and, if billing is enabled in the future, subscription, order, and refund records may be retained. These records support shared-record continuity, security, product accuracy, accountability, or financial obligations. Audit events keep the action, time, and non-identifying account reference, but closing-user identity and private gift ledger payload snapshots are removed. Retained database rows point to the anonymised account rather than your identifying profile, but free-text shared content may remain visible to people with whom it was originally shared.

If you want us to review retained shared content for additional removal, identify it in your deletion email. We will explain what can be removed without deleting another user's record or violating a legal obligation.

Timeframe

Requests are processed within 30 days of verification.
